A reference private theater is not assembled from a list of equipment. It is designed as one complete instrument—image, sound, acoustics, light, seating and control resolved around the room and the people in it.
The concept
We design dedicated residential cinemas for clients who want scale and impact without sacrificing architectural restraint. Screen dimensions, sightlines, speaker placement, isolation, ventilation, finishes and control are established together so no single element feels added later.
The result can be intimate and jewel-box-like or monumental and dramatic. In either case, the technology disappears until the lights fall and the room comes alive.
Direct answers
Purpose-built private cinemas commonly begin near $100,000 and can exceed $250,000 when the room includes major construction, premium interiors, large-format MiniLED, advanced isolation or highly bespoke engineering.
Ideally before framing and mechanical plans are final. Early coordination protects ceiling height, sightlines, speaker locations, equipment ventilation, power, pathways and acoustic isolation.
